Thanks John (lotsa Johns on here ). I'd been made aware of this and have just finished bracing the vehicle as I've got a fair bit of replacing to do - all 4 floor pans, cross member under firewall, instal new gearbox tunnel and chassis kit due to motor/gearbox upgrade. I'd been told by the previous owner that the inner/outer sills had been replaced. On teardown I found the outers were knew but the inners had been patched and there was still some cancer in there. All of this seems fairly straight forward, though lots of work. I was just thinking ahead to when I had to replace the dogleg and how the heck was I going to do it! Thanks to Peter and the rest of the forum I now see a solution. What V8 do you have in your EK?
Cheers,
John

Good luck with your project, you will get a lot of enjoyment out of it, specially if you take the time and do her properly.
Cheers John
