Default i need some opinions about an engish wheel

theres a cast iron english wheel on ebay its been there for a little while Does anyone know about ALVO engish wheels it looks like its very sturdy and braced it comes with a pretty good amount of accessories the price is 4500.00 i need some opinions about this thank you in advance ed

Had a call last year from a guy who had bought one (seems like they come out of Michigan?? but it's obviously an import) and was totally underwhelmed. Sent it back. He said the seller was quite good and even paid shipping both ways. He bought an Imperial and is quite happy.

Google "Alvo English wheel" and you'll get several quotes like this:

Regardless of the current love fest for all things cast, imo, just because it's cast something (iron, steel, potmetal, beer cans) doesn't make it automatically superior to a fabricated frame. I've never used a cast wheel that I really liked (but I've never used one of Peters) Just my two cents.

thanks kerry i saw it a while ago it looked good but thats why i asked for opinions i dont want to make any more mistakes im debating on building one or buying one anyway thanks again
