Hello from Ga
Hello, I'm Charlie Forman. I've been looking at this site for some time. I'm amazed at the talent within this group. My full time occupation as a manual machinist for the last 30 years has kept me close to the metalworking trades, (welding, fabricating, and machining). It's just natural I have an intrest in automobiles. I've admired them and worked on them over the years. My intrest in metalshaping goes back to my early years of searching for parts for my vehicles in wrecking yards. I was always facinated with the shape of firewalls, floorpans, and rocker panels. I would ask myself, "How would I go about making a part like that?" I think I found the answers to a lot of my questions. Thank you for letting me join your group. I look foward to meeting with all of you at a future metal meet.

Charlie, welcome to AllMetalShaping, glad to have you as a new member. Being a machinist will be an asset to you in shaping metal. Many of the tools that we use are one off home made. Take a look around the site, hope you can find things that will help you learn metal shaping. Thanks for joining us.
