Hi,

I'm a coppersmith/sculptor based in Cornwall, UK. I run The Copper Works in Newlyn. The bulk of my work to date has been produced using traditional hand tools. I'm researching augmenting this process with the use of air and power tools. The most appropriate I can find to date are adapted air rivet guns, those available on tinmantech site etc.

We have generally made and/or adapted most of our own tools, so we're quite happy to take the same approach with what's available out there.

My question is; what air tools are people using to shape sheet copper and bronze, in thickness from 0.9mm to 2mm. Any advice/experience in this territory would be greatly appreciated.
