Thought I'd post some pics of a rear roll pan I made for a 1937 Hudson Terraplane. The customer brought me the original for a pattern, but said "I did you favor and heated it up with a torch and beat the bondo out with a hammer." What could say but, "Thanks?". Some of the pics also show the original.

The hardest part of making this part was fitting it, because the car wasn't at my shop, that won't ever happen again.

With paint, still needs cleared.

You did even better then not having the car to reference against.

Invention is a combination of brains and materials.
The more brains you use, the less materials you need.

Thanks for compliments, means a lot, coming from this bunch. Believe it or not the hardest part was the relief for the exhaust. Oh, and fitting it 7 or 8 times on a car 10 miles from my shop.

That's great inspiration for my 36 Terraplane 2-door sedan.

Default Nice work

Really nice work. I have also tried that travel to fit. Takes a lot of time and trying to remember what was supposed to be raised and lowered. Fred26t
