Default former Hot Rod shop owner

Hi, my name is Chris in Algona, IA. but my friends call me "Ole Sarge". I used to run a Hot Rod shop called Ole Sarge Customs out of centerview, MO until a horribly disfiguring fire took that away from me. I am now SEVERLY disabled and live with my sister and her family. I say all that because even though I can no longer turn a wrench, I still love old cars and I own ten of them. one of which is a 70 c10. what I'd like to do is put a center console in it and have a plate with a bowtie welded in place of the factory radio and heater control holes. If anyone would be willing to make that I'd be much obliged.

Hi Chris,
Welcome to the metal gang.
Very sorry to hear of your accident, though am very glad you are keeping on in good spirits and energy.
Likely there is someone near to you in IA who can assist you.
Success and joy,

You might benefit from posting your request for help with console fab in the individual classifieds section. It's kind of off-topic for this section of the forum.
