Greetings!

I am a retired carpenter that has been involved in large scale rc airplanes for many years. I have never done any metal fabricating before other than just maybe small aluminum parts or fittings. Looking to start building scale landing gear for large scale rc airplanes 1/4 " steel tubing, maybe chrome moly. Never welded before, so this should be interesting to say the least! I've been researching small mig welders capable of welding thin wall stuff. I have the time now. Looking forward to this. Should be fun!
