Default my Mercedes finnie 1961

ok guy this followed me home, some one performed bondo magic on her many years ago, and as I'm retired now I have heap more shed time so am looking forward to this project

she had plenty of suprises 4 me ..

note the thinkness of filler I'm trying to workout what they did there as panel doesn't seem to be bashed in that much to justify the amount of fill

every door needs work 1/4v panels and even the roof has had the bondo treatment

Maybe it was used in that old movie "Ground Zero?" ....

Sometimes you know how she got her wrinkles and scars because she tells you. If she doesn't and it's not easy to figure out, it may be best to not know and just accept her as she is. This works well with cars, too....

Looks like it will be a nice car to do. How is the interior- ok for age or not? Seems like all the Mercedes of that vintage I have ever found needed even more expensive leather interior work than expensive hard parts.

its kind of funny in a way, but what learned bondo scultping in my early days does carry over somewhat in feeling shapes and contours. Should be a nice project.
