Default What is the RUTAB in reference to rivet guns

Chicago Pneumatic had a number of internal engineering designations for their rivet guns, air hammers, power hammers, air chisels, air drills, and etc etc pneumatic tools that were designed, built and sold for .mil usage.

Among these designations:
RURAB
RUSAB
RUTAB
RUVAB
BEGAR
LEGAR
LEGER
LASAR
LESAR
PASAN
PASAR
PUSTU
PUSTY

I used to know a CP engineer 20 years ago, but he took these and many other answers Westward with him ... sorry, don't know much else ...

Hi, this is from a UK supplier.
The RUTAB seems to designate a 4X rivet gun

I understand your confusion and doubts on this topic ----

And I refer you back to my original statement regarding the CP designations ......
