Default 32 fire wall cover

Hi Guy's
Last week I started to finish up the front of the 32's cowl so the aircleaner would fit on and look as though it was planned that way.

I cut the opening in the firewall and forgot to snap a few shots but we can all get the idea.
This will be the recess around the air cleaner...
I started with the shape of the opening and then drew the area that needed more room behind the filter. Then followed that area with a doming die in my shopdog.

Then I smoothed it with very light wheeling in my stub axle IWM short for Imperial Wheeling Machine

After a few times back to the wheel my recess started to fit my opening so I began to tack it in place.

After some welding and finishing it started to look respectable.
