Hello from Seattle.
After a few years of building some custom motorcycles and restoring a '69 bug for my daughter I've been looking to develop my metal forming skills for a full custom auto project.

I was initially intrigued with Cobra kits, but rather un-impressed with the construction and knew I would wind up re-designing it anyway, not to mention my preference for aluminum over fiberglass. My current plan is to work off the basic Cobra chassis/suspension and fabricate a round-tube frame and wrap in hand-formed aluminum.

After reading some great posts on this forum re: superleggera construction, I'm looking forward to learning more...
