Default Lets talk about books

hello,
the internet is a really nice source for all kind off information, but i am still in love with books. i think, if you have read some good books, it is a lot more easier to understand all that stuff here, to see the whole picture and not only some pieces.
what books can you recommend, not only metalshaping related. if you build your own tools, you need a lot fabricationskills too, welding, latheturning and so one.
for example Tom Liptons " Metalworking- Sink or Swim " is totally winner in my eyes or Roger Timings " Fabrication and Welding Engineering " a super allround metalfabrication book, a must for every newbie.

here is a picture from my collection of technical literatur, metalshaping and fabrication, casting, woodworking, welding...... cars and bikes... and as i can read german, english and swedish too. there are books i 3 languages.
