I welded the two gutter halves together and did some final adjusting and fitting.
It's good, in its exact location.

I am using some 1" square tube for strength in the area where the latches for the roof will mount. I'm going all the way around, directly below where the roof seal will set on the deck. Bending it up old school. Again; primitive but effective. I just noticed I'm getting some pretty big cracks in my stump, I'll have to put some bands on that.

The roof support fits pretty good. I noticed that the strip of 22 gage that I've been using to check contour sags a little between stations since I removed station #2. I have a strip of plastic that holds its shape better so I'll start using that. I still need to do a little bit more with the support but it"s very close. I ran out of energy before I ran out of work. Tomorrow"s another day.

Brackets, brackets, brackets. I made these two corner braces that tie the roof support to the inner quarters. With the hole punch, If you go one size up and flip the cutting die over you can dimple the holes quick and easy.

Welded the gutter and support brackets together and painted the backside.

Next I bent up a center support out of 1" square tube. This will tie everything together right down the middle. I set it up on the buck one last time to check shape before cutting the buck. From this point on, this bar becomes the "buck" so its got to be dead on.. The two stations that were in this area were never mounted permanently because I knew I would be taking them in and out during this process. I'm ready to start welding everything in so they are out for good now.

I started welding the right and left sides in. Not quite finished yet but it's already very strong and rigid. Almost like a roll cage. I have some welding to finish up tomorrow, then roof latches, deck lid hinges, and upper seat belt mounts.

Looking good Jack. I like your simple trick with the cutting dies. Do you do the emboss first and then cut? Or first punch the hole and then flare? How do you align the holes?
Kind regards, Frank

Drill the pilot hole, set the larger die on upside down and scribe the circle, remove the large die and put on the smaller die. Punch the hole then put the larger die back in. If you tried to dimple first there would be too much distortion.
