Hi Ian
If you don't come right here, you can order from the US. I bought my 3x & 4x used and refurbished from Yardstore and both work fantastic. Alternatively, you can ship it to your address off ebay. If that still doesn't work, try buying new from a store in NZ that supplies the aircraft maintenance industry... https://www.ebay.com/itm/JIFFY-AIR-T...1&isGTR=1#shId

Forewarning.....some people will not like my following comment. You've been warned.
I just recently bought this thing from some peoples most hated and some peoples most loved store. It is absolutely amazing and I may buy another for a dedicated planishing hammer build. I saw it while walking in to buy another cheap spray gun for upholstery adhesive and thought it looked and felt very well built. After using it for some test hammerforming, I am very pleased with my selection. 80 bucks after the 20% coupon. https://www.harborfreight.com/Profes...mer-56524.htmlhttps://www.harborfreight.com/Profes...mer-56524.html

Norman, for hammer forming, absolutely! For planishing, I don't think so; I'd bet it'd be too fierce, with little or no modulation of BPM on the trigger. An air riveter looks very similar, but it's a completely different tool as it has a feathering trigger to regulate force and speed from a tick, tick, tick to brrr. There are Chinese "planishing hammers" which use an air chisel motor. I built a copy and found it way too powerful and no control, hammering in shape rather than gently smoothing the imperfections - it's not even a "poor man's planisher" IMO!

Manny put a ball valve in front of the hammer to regulate force. Also have a pressure regulator with an Oiler too

rivet gun - short dissertation - no photos yet, sorry
"air-operated whackers" come in a variety of patterns - chisels, rippers, splitters, rammers, cutters, d-scalers, riveters ..... (pick yer whacker.)
Real bap-bap-bap rivet guns are a joy to use. I've got some 36X "bridge riveters" and various sizes on down to 1X. The 3X is a delicate little gun and sets down the -3 and -4 rivets very nicely. I have also used a CP 4AX and it seems a little more sensitive than the CP 3X, side by side. Iron handles reduce recoil - over aluminum handles. I've used and I've interchanged handles back and forth on 3X, 4X, 5X, 7X, 9X, and 10X CP rivet guns, to learn this for myself, on my own APT, IR, Cleco, and CP guns. Handle design - pistol vs gooseneck is another nice choice. History tells us that back in 1947, at the US National Skills Competition, the one for aircraft riveting was won outright by Northrop - where the craftsman (not known if a Rosie or a Roscoe) used the new "gooseneck" handle to a significant dextrous advantage. All in all, pneumatic tools like clean oil and clean adjustable air (NO compressor scale - URK!!) so Filtering, Regulating and Lubricating the air (FRL) makes air motors of all type live lots longer. -end of diatribe -
