I can’t vouch for below, I found it on a GMC motor home forum. Keeping the numbers round figures lets just figure 100K for the GMC motor home, other parts and materials to complete the project. So $300,000 for labor divided by 5000 hours comes to $60.00 per hour, not an absolute home run considering he built it on speculation that there was a buyer out there somewhere but still respectable and he truly seems to be enjoying the process. I wish I still had his enthusiasm. ~ John Buchtenkirch

I had an interesting conversation with Randy Grubb last week and
received the good news that he had sold his beautiful custom coach.
If I'm not mistaken, it sold for $400,000.00
I will be up there to see him next week and confirm.
Some person in Michigan acquired it.
The unit has our engine, transmission, final drive, our Hubler front
end, aluminum radiator and American Eagle hub centered wheels.
If you have never had the pleasure of working with him,you missed a
wonderful relationship.
He has not yet formulated on his next project, but you know it will be grand.

He has been very lucky to find someone to buy these projects. The deco liner is owned by someone up in northern mich. The riveted roadster is owned by the same guy and is supposed to be" featured" at a car show in Charlevoix Mi on July 15. I may be in the area and can see it in person.
