54 jag front end rebuild
I'm in the middle of reworking the sheet metal on the 54 xk120. I've got the left side complete enough to use it for building a buck to shape the right side. Here are a few pictures of my buck building process so far, and I'll try to add more as I go. IMG_5958.jpg

Some more buck progress
I made it a bit further on the buck for the jag today. After I got the main rib fit in place I started taking the profiles layed out on the left fender with poster board and a profile gauge. Then one at a time I cut the ribs out of ply then fit and screwed them in place. This process has shown how different the two fenders were originally. I will be doing my best to make them symmetrical. Tomorrow I'll start shaping!IMG_5970.jpg

Buck building
Easy to follow buck building example. I especially like how you set the ride height by extending the center rib to the floor.
Thanks for sharing this build.
