Joe, thanks for posting your fun night on the track, looks like you had some success. Bet lots of people were surprised at the performance of the car. Your cheering section sure is loud.

For those that don't understand why this is not Off Topic, it is because Joe posted the complete build/transformation of the car on the site. Here is a link to the build http://www.allmetalshaping.com/showthread.php?t=4286

Thanks You Guys!
It was So much Fun watching the Videos and seeing Five plus years in Action.
We are trying to work out a date to run at Muncie which is a quarter mile Strip.
Next Oval run is 7-14-12 and I hope to do as well.
There are a few local car Clubs that do Pylon racing against the clock, this Saturday the Mercedes Club is Sponsoring one at the IU/PU Campus about an hour north from me. Pylon racing is a mixture of Drifting and road course.

The people in the pits were pretty funny, one guy said it looked like a stretched beretta, another told me I was Nuts for running such a clean car, another guy peaked inside and pretty much let the cat out of the bag by saying "Oh Hell Yes that's a Trans Am".

Well we had four good races. In the finals I raced a pretty new AWD V8 Audi.
I had lane choice and took the outside by mistake. If they would have run 2 laps on the Half mile for the finals like always it would have been an 1/8 mile drag race to turn one. Instead the announcer changes it up and decides after my lane choice to run one lap on the 1/3 mile! Hell turn one was like 20 foot from where we started!
Be sure and watch lap 2, I lose it twice in turn 2 on the 1/2 mile. I really thought I was gonna get him till......
just watch it.
