Kerry, I would like to reserve 4 spots for myself and a few employees.

Like Will, several of us would be available to assist on the COE project too.

Thanks!!

Five weeks to go. Shops a mess. Haven't had time to do hardly anything on the roadster. Dang. I gotta get busy!

Accommodations for the meet:

Motels: Every motel chain and price range you can think of is available in Huntsville about 6-7 miles away. You want to be on University drive and there are probably 25 motels on University as well as every eatery known to man.

Camping: You're welcome to pitch a tent in the yard. We'll have a portapotty. If you're bringing an RV or Motorhome, I need to know in advance. We already have two and power and parking on a slab is limited.
In the past we've had some folks throw up a cot in the shop where the AC is and that's fine but your somewhat limited to turning in when the last folks do and getting up early with the early risers.

Food:

We have some eaterys locally these days. There is a McDonalds and Subway as well as Pizza, Chinese, Mexican, and Sneaky Pete's hot dog and breakfast restaurants all within a couple miles. There is a really good Greek place very close. During the peak days we'll be cooking burgers and dogs on a gas grill. There is a large grocery store (Publics) about 2 miles away also with a deli.

I have a refrigerator in the shop and will have plenty of water. If you want something else, bring it and you might want a cooler because the fridge won't hold everyone's drinks.

I have a couple 10x20 canopies that we'll set up. One for eating and cooking and one for work space.

MISC.

If you're planning on bringing a large project please contact me first. Space and workspace is limited. Additional canopies and tables are always a plus.

Bring your favorite hand tools and anything else you want tool wise. Also personal protection stuff. Gloves, DEFINITELY hearing protection, etc.

I've got a couple MIGs, a Miller Dynasty TIG, OA with Henrob, regular, ans small torches. Flux and Rod. etc. There is a 4' air shear and 4' break as well as bandsaws and the other fab stuff you'd expect.

If you've got a tool you think we might need or want to show off or whatever and have room for it, bring it on. We can always leave it your vehicle or put it in a storage room if we don't need it.

The MAJOR project will be Dan Pate's COE cab. Pat Groover is bringing a chopped 51 Chevy that needs some work. Kris will have his 54 Pickup project and there is lots to do with that. The roadster will be here but I'll have it outside and don't anticipate much work on it. Barb Lawrence will be doing copper 'stuff' and if you've never seen it before, prepare to be amazed. Hopefully, she will have some stuff for sale.
