Two weeks and counting down. I'm trying to get some "donations" set aside to bring, so there will be material for people to work with. I'm working on a set of rails, so I'd like to work with the Marchant and continue my project from last year. They are 8' long, so I don't know if that is considered a large project, I hope it won't be a problem. If you have any specific pieces you can think of let me know and I'll do what I can. Looking forward to seeing eveyone. Bob

I gotta find a project to bring along.

I guess I could bring my hood along. You got enough space for that?

I might be able to head your way. I do have a project! A 26-7 model 't' cowl with some creative metalworking underneath 3/8ths or more of bondo.

Hi Marty,

Are you going to have a "shop project"?

Shop project? Nope, but we can find you something. We can do some embossing, hats (opposite of bowls?), pedal car parts, prove how a pullmax and group build shrinker can shrink with less than zero gap, Bench race, or help anybody that brings a project. We have plenty of room, dont be shy to bring a project. So far we have 2 hoods, some long parts of Bob's, a model A cowl, and other assorted stuffs.

Marty

I hate to say it but I'm not going to make it this year.

We started a major renovation project in the basement this year and it's just killing us. I can't, in good faith, leave my long suffering wife with a mess while I go play for 8 days. Plus work in the shop is backing up. Just can't spare the time.

Take lots of photos.

Kerry, Very sorry to hear that you can't make it. I've had those home improvement projects, so I know how overwhelming it can be.
I just loaded up a couple hundred pounds of "donated" steel in my economy car, and will finish packing the car tomorrow with my project and tools. I'll be riding low. I look forward to seeing everybody next Friday. Bob
