I have gotten several emails asking for the address so here it is :
John Forbes
7258 Empire Grade
Santa Cruz
if you do a mapquist it right next to the fire depart.
If you come up from Felton it is a steep, narrow, winding road

SEE OU NEXT WEEK!

I'm excited for this event. Were heading out Friday morning and staying at the Henry Cowell State Park just outside of Felton. I packed a bunch of hand tools now I'm just trying to decide what project to take. I was also thinking about bringing the shrink positive machine I just picked up (but don't have too many dies for) if there is a need for it.

Default Kent White has a question

"I’m wondering what I can offer in the way of demos… shrinking, planishing, filing and metal finishing"

My vote was for metal finishing - thoughts?

Remember - eye protection, ear protection, gloves, etc. Chairs aren't a bad idea either.

Well I still can't weld thin ga. sheet with O/A to save my life and I bought all of Kent's goodies-googles, meco torch, flux, etc... I vote for a weld/metal finish 19-22ga. seminar on steel and alum.

Default Please bring

Thin material. I know Kent is bringing the torch set up. Might bring your torch and gauges as well, to make sure there isn't a problem there.

Thanks, yes I'm bringing my torch, googles and gauges as well as some hand tools, practice metal, gas/tig rod and welding helmet in case we can do some tig. Is anyone going to be shooting any video of this? Would be great to watch later. My cell phone can probably capture 5min's at a time.

See everyone there!

Default Santa Cruz Meet Hours/Parking

This is my first time for this event. I am pulling a small 6 x 12 enclosed cargo trailer, and curious about parking. Also, what time should I show up...and what time will we leave for the day? Is anything planned for the evening, which was mentioned in one thread a while back.

Thanks! Looking forward to this!
