Me too. It would be a bit of a drive for me (from Walla Walla) but at least its not half way across the country like most of them are.

Default Seattle Meet

I'd sure find a way to go. Count me in. I'm retired and could probably help with non-technical stuff if needed.

Default Jim Dyreson

I live in Milton Washington and would really enjoy a local meet and would do what I could do to help to pull it off.

If you hold it, they will come.

I think we all are hoping somebody will be the "you" in "If you hold it"

I can see it now, my place with my HF belt/disc sander, my Lincoln 110 MIG, one good pair of shears. Maybe I'll have my baseball bat hammer and my stump done. Uh on second thought.

"You!" where are you?

Beers! I'm in. Be nice to meet some forum members. Even if we didn't do an actual hands on thing. It would still be good to swap stories, ideas,
bench race.
Been a number of years since I've been to the Milton tavern.

Default B/S metal meet

Went to the Milton Tavern for dinner and a beer last night.
Good eats!

I propose a week night "b/s metal meet". Thoughts? Weekends would be o.k. but I'm usually knee deep in some project and find it hard to stop once I'm rolling.

Septembers right around the corner. I'm going to pick the 21st which is a wednesday night. I'll buy a pitcher of beer.
My vaca will be done by then, my son will be back in school.
