Default Gippsland, Victoria. OZtralia

Hello all,
My name is Wayne and I am a 58 year old helicopter pilot working in the oil and gas industry here in Australia. Have had a lifetime of ownership, restoration and driving of vintage cars and sports cars from 1915 to the 70's. May interests have lured me into machining and metal working machines of all types. Have many projects and am rapidly approaching the time I retire from aviation and speed up my hobby/obsession. Skill set has been built up from a variety of Tafe night classes from oxy welding, machining, panel beating and spray painting. Here to learn from the best or at least the obsessed. Currently have a number of vintage Austin sevens,TR4, TR4a, TR6 and Jaguar 1948 saloon, 1960 Mark 2 3.8MOD and 1965 E type coupe.
Always working on something. E Type is big job but Tr4a and Mark 2 are drivers.
My 21 year old son has contracting same infliction and I would love to introduce him to some coach building skills as he has a lifetime to hone some skills..
Look forward to future interaction.
Cheers Wayne.

Hey Wayne

welcome. You seem to have an English obsession, I see... nice!

I'm in 'the Valley' - not too far away
You will find much inspiration and late night research on here.

Hi Wayne and Welcome. Seems like you have a few spare cars in the stable.
Which is probably good as you wouldn't get to bored on the same project.
Cheers John
