Default Motel Accomodations

We have blocked (20) rooms at The Richland Inn in Lewisburg, Tenn. Their phone number is 931-359-1800.

These rooms are only blocked until June 21st as there is a large horse show in a neighboring town shortly after this date. I would recommend not hesitation to make your arrangements here as soon as possible.

The attendance list has been updated. We have 12 non-confirmed attendees and the waiting list is currently very short, so if you have an interest contact one of us and your name will be added as an opening occurs.

I have updated the attendance list.

If your name is on the list and you have not notified us of your attending, would you be so kind as to let us know if you are able to attend (or not) so that we can include others.

Thanks.

Jim and I are looking forward to this next chapter of the Redneck Roundup in Tennessee. You might consider bringing your own chair and perhaps a one or two person work table, Helmets, goggles, ear protection, eye protection and small or no belt buckles. There are some very rare cars at this location and as much precaution as possible should be made to not dent or scratch any of these restored cars.

Default Metal Shaping class at Redneck Roundup Belfast TN

I have been invited to teach a 3 day class in Belfast TN August 26th-28th at the shop of Jim Hery.

I will be teaching metal shaping techniques for the beginner to the advanced student using Jim's well equipped shop, using some of his wooden bucks to fit the fabricated panels to. The class will focus on hand tools, using the English wheel, power hammers and many metal shaping tips and tricks using the road map I teach to accomplishing a finished panel.
If you are interested in signing up for this class, you can email me me at: kingdommetalworks@gmail.com or call me at (310) 947-1120 for information on how to register. The cost is $650.00 for the 3 day class running each day from 9:00 am- 5:00pm.

Hope to see you there!

Will, if anyone backs out or can't make it I would like to attend. Since I am down in Huntsville, Driving up isn't a big deal.

I'm looking at taking Kevin's class the following Monday.

Thanks
Brett.

Hey everyone I am a little late to the party, but I am very excited for the Event and I will be teaching a class the weekend before the event August 16,17,18, 19th! The class will be a supercharged version of my pattern and panel development class. We will cover all the pattern work for the project and the how and why of pattern and what they tell us.

We will be shaping a part from flat sheet to finished panel, in the class we will also make any special tooling needed for the project. This is a great class to open yourself up to making your own tooling and fixtures as anything we make to get through the project will be made with simple stuff no cnc shenanigans.

Through the whole class we will be using the English Wheel, and hand tools and we will compare the results of the hand tool methods to some of the large power equipment Jim has in his shop. We will have a variety of things to work on so if your just getting started with metalshaping DO NOT BE INTIMIDATED and if you have been into it for a while I put together something more challenging for you. This is the reason class sizes are small!

Cost for this class will be $700 per person with a maximum of 6 people. Lunch refreshments and all materials will be provided each day. If you have any questions or would like to sign up for this class shoot me a email customridesbuiltmine@yahoo.com or just give me a call at the shop 1402 462 8581 thanks everyone and have a great day!!
