Dreaming of Creating Compound Curves
Hi! This is Michael from Fremont, CA. My father and 3 uncles grew up in Tucson, Az at a time when high school boys built their own customized hot rod cars because they could and it was less expensive than buying a new car. I admire their can-do spirit and craftsmanship. I have always wanted to learn how to create the compound curves seen on many classic cars from the 20's - 50's. It is not just appreciation, but I am drawn to it and I am now trying to make some time outside of my crazy work life for some creative exploration and craft learning. I feel there is something truly special about personally "kneading" your materials to understand their characteristics and capabilities well. its time to begin this journey!
