Default 2017 Rt 56 classes April 29th, 30th May 1st, 2nd

Hey everyone, I know it is short notice but I will be teaching two classes before the Rt 56 event! The classes will be held April 29th, 30th and May 1st, 2nd. The first class will be rapid buck development and pattern work of a 1930's era race car body.

This class April 29th, 30th will cover:

How to capture a existing shape

Buck construction methods

Different types of bucks and materials

working on a station buck and solid surfaces

Pattern work, types of patterns and uses

The second class May 1st, 2nd will cover:

How to break down large panels

Use of patterns as a road map

Shrinking and stretching with hand tools

Shrinking and stretching with power equipment

Differences between power and hand methods

Tig and gas welding

Finishing your welds and metal finishing

The cost for each two day class is $350 and includes lunch, refreshments and all materials for the class. As it stands right now there are only two spots open for the first class and only one for the second class. If you would like to attend one or both of the classes shoot me a pm or email customridesbuiltmine@yahoo.com or say so in this thread. These classes will allow you to work from the development of the concept and buck to finished panels and the steps needed to get there. Looking forward to the class and another fun event! Thanks everyone and have a good day!!
