Default Kurtis in CT

New member here. Sean in Connecticut (amateur fabricator) Building a Kurtis replica of sorts. The theme is "my great uncle commissioned Frank Kurtis to build a car for the 1955 Carrera Panamericana based on the 1950s indy roadsters" It is going to look vintage but have a modern drivetrain, 2 seats and hopefully enough trunk space for 2 sets of golf clubs

I built a chassis using a pontiac solstice as a donor for the engine/trans/rear/spindles/steering rack. I added a supercharger so it should be about 250+ hp at the rear wheels.

I just brought the chassis to Wray's shop where we are going to build the body.

Frank - Wrays class is excellent. Learn a lot plus meet similar minded people. Finished most of my wireform, started shaping the nose panels, plus built a hammer form for the grill opening.

Kurtis nose Feb 2017.jpg

Plan on working on it most wednesdays at Wrays
