Default nfg from Mesa, Az

Hello. New guy from Az. I love hot rods and ww2 planes. I am an a/p mechanic for a major airline. I want to learn how to shape aluminum and make some bomber seats. Thanks

Brady
My name is Barry from Mn but spend 4 mo with you guys in the winter....Look up Terry the guy in the poast below yours. Good guy and he has tools. Bead roller wheel and hamer to form parts with and he is doing some nice work.. If you are a a7p you must have all the rivit guns and clecos....A jump schear and a 4 ft break is about all you need > Also look up John Nickle He is the second house on the north west side of culver and haws rd..big shop behind the house....he is looking for some one to lead the way on a project...he has a bead roller same one as Terry and a pulmax lathe and mill break....but has not done a lot of riviting...good guys in your area to get to know. I will be back down in nov again..........maybe we can get together. Barry

Default welcome Barry from AZ

Welcome Barry, I'm from the North Phoenix area and also into hot rods and customs. Is the John Nickle the Bonnivile Salt Flat racer that was on the Emmons race team? If so please say Hi for me. I was also on his team in 2002 when we broke the record of 307 mph. Best experience of my life. Good luck with the forum, some great guys with alot to offer and willing to share their knowledge.
