Default I'm new to metal shaping

Hi everyone! I am a hot rodder who likes to do all phases of the build but have little ability in shaping metal. I can cut, grind and weld but that's it. I would like to learn how to form body panels and louvers without high end expensive equipment.

Dave

Default David Gardiner

David has created the best tutorial on shaping I have ever seen which is aimed at the new guy who doesn't have expemsive tools. He uses metal
pipes, bar stock and railroad track to create shapes. You can contact him
at metalshapingzone.com and view it on youtube. There is also stuff on making your own tools on the basic questions section of this site and the viddeo section.also. There are metal meets where guys get together and make things which is real cool. Look under the events section. There are events in Oblong IL and Cal this season you can attend.
