Default 1939 ford truck fender

So I have been obsessive over metalshaping for a year or so... finally saved up the money and took wrays class. Well worth it. 60 hours in 4 days, be prepared to learn and work your tail off.

I chose a 1939 ford rear fender as my project.. its ambitious, and I didn't get it all done at wrays.

This is where I was when i left the class...

since, i've been plugging away.. here is where I am as of tonight. almost there...

You did well to start as a novice and get that far on the fender as well as spending time learning. It looks very nice. Keep up the good work.

thanks guys... taking classes with wray was one of the better things i've done.

I got really frustrated a few times, but it was the best lesson in patience I've had yet.

wow different approach to the guard that i think other would do .. its in 3 parts ? i did mine for my 42 chev it slices around the guard great job though there seems to be several ways to do the same job.

it amazing how hands on classes can move your skill along rapidly :-)

Well Steve, super great results.

Following good classes is one thing but showing this results mean you're well on your way. Hope to see more from you in the future.

Frank
