Default 2016 Redneck Roundup

THE REDNECK ROUNDUP FOR 2016 HAS BEEN FILLED TO CAPACITY. PLEASE CONTACT ME IF YOUR NAME IS NOT ON THE LIST BELOW AND I WILL ADD YOUR NAME TO A WAITING LIST. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR INTEREST.
Address for meet is
Mantiques Restoration Services
1067 Sheraton way
Rock Hill, S.C.

The schedule for the 2016 redneck Roundup will be as follows: Thursday Feb.25, Friday Feb.26 and Saturday Feb. 27th. This forward time movement was brought on by the concern for the high temperatures in South Carolina in June or July, and we have been experiencing more folks than can be contained in the air conditioned shop at each of the previously held events.

I have acquired some additional table and minimized the footprint of the speedster, so we will have a little more room and small projects will be welcome this year also. As before a small lunch will be provided and a catered meal will be provided on Saturday, as in the past, I will be making a list of attendees to minimize waste in food preparation while making sure I allow for sufficient provisions.

In addition, this year we will be hosting a class(es) under the guidance of no other than the 'crazy Swede', Per (Metalman Sweden) who offered to proved the class because the earlier schedule benefited his travel plans as well. I believe he will be focusing on Pullmax tooling and use and his wide array of 'tips and tricks'. The price for the class will be $350 per person for both days.

I had to make a LOT of calls to get help and organizational issues settled with the new scheduling of both the Redneck Roundup the Classes that Per offered, and it has resulted in some advance confirmation requests beyond our wildest dreams, especially for Per's class(es.)

It has been decided to hold the Redneck Roundup to 40 folks as that has been working quite well in the previous two years. Word got out about Per's class and we have been inundated with requests. Per originally wanted to hold one class for a max. of five guys, but demand has prompted him to hold a second, but earlier class, and have 6 attendees in each class. This will allow us to budget and order food and assorted items for hosting this meet.

The following is a list of the pre-committed attendees for both of Per's classes and the Redneck Roundup.

Second Metal Shaping Class (February 20th and 21st.) $350 for both days. FULL
