Default Templates - what material?

Whether you are working from a buck or an existing panel, what do you find works best for templating?

Brown paper, newspaper, fabric?

Or something else?

Otter skin?

Hi Mark, fabrics no good because of the stretch and you would find too flexible diagonally because of the weave. News paper tends to be too delicate so I would go for good old brown masking paper. In the past I have also used FSP Flexible Shape Patterns, check this link out, one I did earlier. http://www.allmetalshaping.com/showthread.php?t=2508

I use the heavy paper for protecting new hardwood floors and stairs for houses under construction. It comes in rolls and different thickness'.
