Default RIP Marcel DeLay

A pretty credible rumor floating around says that Marcel DeLay, one of the true masters of the craft has died. I have no further details.

Back in '07 or '08 on TheHamb that same rumor was going around. No evidence of an Obituary via a Google search I just did now.
Interesting thing about him, much like Cass Nowrocki he emigrated to the US and was completely self taught from what I remember reading about him. Don't know where Boyd would have been if he hadn't had the DeLay's. Foose as well.

I have seen condolances on Luc's facebook page from a number of people including Terry Foose and John D'Agostino.

Please keep this updated as more information comes to light.

Eric Rosenau was a high-quality auto restorer known for Pierce Arrow Motorcar restos, and had his shop down towards San Diego.

In one of my conversations with him he told me that he had come across Marcel years ago, when Marcel was doing crash repair. Marcel took on some of Eric's work and Eric eventually told him to quit the truck company and start out on his own doing body and fender fabrication - so he did.
