The North Complex Fire is 270,000+ acres now, the weather has cooled 20 deg (after the Colo. snows), the brisk winds did not return (odd-but-excellent change for that forecast!), and the fire has not come closer than making a wall of flames above the high ridge top 10 miles off. Temps down for another few days and some clouds arriving now. Prayers answered. Whew!

Uncle Bud was VERY relieved when I told him that you are doing well. He was concerned about you.

We both had breakfast at the Waffle House this morning, 4 egg ham and cheese omelet, grits and toast. No hot sauce on either of our grits.
