Two bits of round bar, about 25mm diameter, welded to a plate and set on the anvil would be just as useful and indestructible.
Some sheet metal rolls have grooves machined in the end – probably to accommodate a wired-edge – a large enough set would handle 6mm bar.

Thanks Charlie - yeah I have 4' x 3" roller with wire groves, so could roll a bunch of rods with similar sweeps, mark a centreline and then crank the tops over to follow the correct rising and falling side profile - not dissimilar to the MDF process outlined by my God buddy. The parallel rods or a facsimile Eastwood thingy would enable tweaking.
Been a tough year for sure. Focus on Barbara getting well again and the house sorted, the 6 Series back on the road and a couple of Group A Eggenberger Volvo fuel pump brackets recreated for a buddy. Mate they will be easy he said... Then the Group 5 wireframe and panels
