well it's been a while since i last posted on my restoration... i have been busy with lot's of things but more on those things as they come nearer to completion. the windscreen scuttle panel i made in the last few pictures is now standing against the wall an a new replacement panel has been made which i like a little better
sorry if they don't come out in order but you get the idea lol. well today was no different but i did find out something rather interesting!... after starting the L/H guard/fender/wing top piece...
i emailed peter during the week as i needed to pick up some of his acid/phosphate he uses to remove rust, as i have a lot of cleaning to do... so i had a few hours in the garage on the panel (shown above) and after lunch i drove up to collect said acid, well i've said it before it's nice to call in to see him cause you never know what he is working on. after he said there will be no more holden 1/4 panels being made due to body aches and pains, what is he doing?
he's repairing said 1/4 panel!... i guess it's not a full panel so he's got us there lol, i gave him a quick hand for a few minutes while i was there (and it was just one hand
) when does he ever sleep lol...
