Ken. The roller is a contraption I built specifically to do this job. It is similar to a pinch roller with a roller at each end to give the longitudinal curve. the pinch rollers are male and female...

Marcus. Yes ,I get the polishing done by a metalfinisher. It is a trade skill which seems simple, but in fact, takes much practise and patience. Tried it myself but my results were woefull compared...

They are 3mm (1/8") 304 grade stainless. Have since made one for a 46 Ford as well.

The truck pictured is a 46 chevy 1/2 ton with a gmc 270 engine. Mine is a 46 also, with the turbo hanging on it.
