Most the tank upper has been gone over with file. I used hammer and stake dolly along with pick to lift the low areas. Re-welded some questionable welds too. I can still feel some minor highs and...

Trying to take more time on this tank. Learned how to shrink a spot I overstretched using a piece of aluminum pipe as a donut dolly. So far so good.

I got impatient and went ahead without argon purge. Used a burr to get close to the bottom and then rewelded. Found probably 20 pinholes, mostly pinhole from craters due to poor tapering technique...

Looks like it will be 6 pieces for the body of the tank less the tunnel and end cap. I thought I was buying 14 gage but it's labelled 13 gage? At any rate it mics about 0.080. Bottom halves are 2...
