Corrosion at body mounts.

I found this good advice from the folks that build trailers. The tip on using Tape instead of caulk was new to me.

Double spring coil

Heater coils in aircraft instruments are also double coiled for the same reason. Better fatigue life.

It is hard to beat O/A for versatility. Welding, cutting, heating, brazing, sooting up aluminum for anneal. If you can only have one welder, I recommend O/A. Personally, I use TIG the most, O/A...

Years ago a friend showed me how his Thermal arc inverter could weld aluminum with DC. With an inverter the DC is more like Square wave AC. I recall that it worked well. Anyone else doing this?
