What do you guys use to do the very fine work, like when grinding the pride for perfect sheetmetal and you need to get right THERE. I've been trying to use 2" rowlock, 80grit, on a 90deg die...

Along with what Chris suggested I'd look into getting one of those 4 1/2" shrinking discs for an offset grinder, it'll come in handy.

I'd have to ask, 'high spots next to or close to the weld' may not be highspots but the result of the areas adjacent are shrunk.
In any event, a shrinking disc would make things easier.
