I made swages or channels by having bar stock under the channel and using a hammer and chisel to form the edge. It came out OK, but the bead roller makes it faster and much easier.

Dutch Comstock took the slapper from one of those sets and welded a 15"
handle to it and bingo, a tool anyone would be proud to own. well balanced and
