depending on your resources and level of interest I would recommend building one with a "C" shaped frame from heavy plate. Either from Tom Lipton plans ( medium size) or a larger size from kent...

Question flux for gas welding magnesium

looking for flux to gas weld magnesium.

superior and harris no longer sell welding flux for mg, kent white doesnt either.

ANY IDEAS ??

Question penetration control o/a alum welding

i am now welding ( butt joints on panels) .063 3003 which is thicker than i had been working with.
my o/a welds look good but do not penetrate the weld fully. I am using a meeco with a #2 or #3 tip...
