Hey everyone, I know it is short notice but I will be teaching two classes before the Rt 56 event! The classes will be held April 29th, 30th and May 1st, 2nd. The first class will be rapid buck development and pattern work of a 1930's era race car body.
This class April 29th, 30th will cover: How to capture a existing shape Buck construction methods Different types of bucks and materials working on a station buck and solid surfaces Pattern work, types of patterns and uses The second class May 1st, 2nd will cover: How to break down large panels Use of patterns as a road map Shrinking and stretching with hand tools Shrinking and stretching with power equipment Differences between power and hand methods Tig and gas welding Finishing your welds and metal finishing The cost for each two day class is $350 and includes lunch, refreshments and all materials for the class. As it stands right now there are only two spots open for the first class and only one for the second class. If you would like to attend one or both of the classes shoot me a pm or email customridesbuiltmine@yahoo.com or say so in this thread. These classes will allow you to work from the development of the concept and buck to finished panels and the steps needed to get there. Looking forward to the class and another fun event!
