Titanium gauge question

Hi guys, can you tell me if the gauge chart for Titanium is the same as Aluminum or Steel?
Google wasn't helpful on this one. Or perhaps I phrased the question inaccurately. Thanks in advance...

You can bypass the gauge thing (stainless, aluminum, etc are different...) by simply using decimal inch or metric (mum'd'mum), .041", .039", 1.5mm etc etc.

The salespersons in any metal dept. I've ever spoken with across the US have all been savvy to the decimal/mm.

S'okay ....

........ how about a query on stripping electroless nickel from a nice old steel prop spinner? I got it straight, while the shattering nickel sprinkled everywhere - then I sanded a bit, then blasted the rest of the loose stuff, leaving a few sq. inches here and there .... I need to strip, finish the metal smoothing, copper it up, sand that, and then go to final nickel. Help?

In plating we strip CHROME down to the nickel and then the nickel is polished off. Then we either rechrome or send it out for nickel plating and then re-chrome.

I had a '33 Willys grill that I had the chrome stripped and a lot of copper was left and it looked doggy, so I let it soak in my citric acid tank for a few days. When it came out almost all the copper was gone. I doubt we are talking the same type of thing, but I thought I'd put it out there.
