Snowing here so working in the shop today. Kinda made a mess of the lower rocker mock up but it told me what i need to do. Also with partial jambs i could take a sweep of the car. It's better flowing then the glass car.

So today i finished up mocking up the door jamb and hinges. The jamb is extra wide to bolt to the jig. I will trim it down when it comes back apart.
I'm using the 32 closed car hinges from united pacific that do not fit 3w. I'm doing a 4 hinge set up with the chopped roof instead of the 6 hinge set up for a stock height. I moved the RF hinge to the L back. Looks like they will work with some hammer mods. Built the jamb pockets etc. I doubt they would fit a stocker. Moving along!

You're make great progress. You should send me the fibreglass body when you're done :) I'd like to build a 32 at some point. And, thanks for sharing.

Today i made some door under structure out of 1" tube with some sweeping bends. Now i have a door that latches. Some fine tuning to do but good overall. Ray

Now that i have a swinging door frame i clamped the glass door on it to get the sweep of the lower rocker and start to build the sill. Having the glass body can be a blessing or a curse................Lot's of guessing and thinking..Attachment 40356
