Thinks for fixing the pictures. Everything that's in bare metal I made with just handtools. I still have a few more patches to make before this one is finished up. I am just trying to get better. I am still working on trying to perfect my tig skill set.

Good Job, very neat work going on there, I love those 240 and 260 zees, very sporty looking car indeed.

Thank you! Iam still learning, I took it on for my friend so I could learn on this car it's finally getting close to being finished. I am ready to start another one. I am working on improving my tig skills as I would like to be able to metal finish everything I do. The next project is a Datsun 510

Beautiful cars! Don't be sorry for the pictures, those cars are awesome. This car is gonna be painted orange and gonna be restored to some what original the owner has this car a 260z another 240z and a factory 280zxt. I'd like to teach myself to paint so I could start a full on resto shop

The orange one was painted in Porsche stop light orange because that's what the customer wanted, cost him a third more cause orange is a very transparent colour and required a tinted white ground coat first then still six coats of Dupont Imron aviation paint

Hey Shorty,
What is the difference in aviation paint compared to Auto paints.
Did a google search and there is no definite answer, apart from possibly being more flexible.
How does it compare to price.

Hi oldnek , aviation coatings I find tend to apply easier ,better build and coverage holds a shine longer because of higher uv tolerance, and it touches up without repair edge frying and dramas and that's the main reason, I sometimes see these cars for minor repairs twice a year, so a cover my backside on re-repairs.
Also to a point i'll paint your car in any quality paint you want, these guys think it's better and specify the quality, some rally cars I do I wouldn't paint gates with the crap paint I use on them but after a race season the bodies are so damaged and there's no paint on them anyway
