From Central Florida

Hi all, my name is Mike, living in East Saint Cloud, Florida. My primary reason for joining this group is my latest project. My boys and I are working on a 57 Chevy 4 door hardtop and we are going to be making some changes. I am new to metalworking but not to fabrication, so I know I have a lot to learn, but I am teachable.

Projects ahead:
Floor patch panels
Trunk Patch Panels
Possible quarter panel replacement
Replace 57 Dash with 56 Dash
Suicide rear doors
Custom radiator cover using a donor 57 hood

Lots of big ideas so looking for some help and guidance.

Welcome to the site. I'm a new guy as well.
I'm not too far from you. Myakka City.
If you start a build thread. I'll be watching. Sounds like a great project.

Hey Mike!

Happy Friday and welcome! Lots of talented helpful people here on this site! I have really been impressed with the amount of resources and help that I have received as a newbie! I wish you and your boys well with your project.

I'm in the Orlando area.

Dave

Thanks Diabolical, I checked out your Chevelle build thread and I think your skills are far superior to mine, but we all start somewhere. I have a build thread on another site https://www.trifive.com/forums/showthread.php?t=129223. Its on hold for a bit while I put my 34 Ford back together as it has been down for a year during a rebuild and I want it back on the road,

Thanks Dave, nice to see another local here.

You too, I hope that you will do an initial post of your 57 in the automotive project area so we can follow along. Trust me...I need all of the learning opportunities I can get! :)
