Hello from Florida

I joined some time ago but life got in the way for a bit.
Anyways just thought I would say hello to all.
My son and I are looking to learn the art of coach building ( I did autobody votech school 20+ years ago). I have a few low level tools an E wheel, bead roller, shrinker stretcher and getting a gas welding setup soon.

I would like to buy David Gardiners DVD but I have gotten no reply through the website. Does he still sell the DVD I don't want to send money to a PayPal account for nothing. I looked him up here and he has not been active for over a year but his YouTube channel was active 9 months ago.

Also what's a good gas welding setup to start with I want to weld sheet but a bigger head and body for cutting and heating could be useful as well. Do I need to buy 2 different bodies or is a small victor good to start with.

Berry Welcome back.............
Simply buy a torch body that does booth welding and cutting just make sure to buy one that has a good size tip for steel welding and ally welding.
If not sure ring Mr Kent White from ''TM Technology'' and he will give you the right info on the right torch to buy

Welcome back, Berry.

Those sound like a good start for torches. Buy a good/real regular torch that is easy to outfit with high quality different tips, large and small. Your local welding shop may not think in terms of welding thin materials or aluminum with a gas torch, so talk with someone who gets it.

Adding a gas saver shut-off and piezio igniter will help you focus welding to improve your skills. They will also save help you a lot of time and money.
